How to use Alka® Tea

Alka® Tea is easy to use and can be enjoyed at any time of day. Whether you prefer a calming cup for yourself or want to brew a whole pot to share, you'll enhance your tea experience by preparing it properly. Read on to find out the best way to do this.

Preparation method for 1 cup of alkaline herbal tea

Place the herbal filter in a cup and pour 250 ml of hot water over it. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Stir briefly and drink slowly. If you prefer a stronger flavor, let the herbal filter steep for a little longer.

Preparation method for a jug of alkaline herbal tea

Place 2 Alka® Tea herbal filters in a 1-liter teapot. Then add hot water. Allow the tea to steep for at least 10 minutes. If you want a stronger flavor, allow the filters to steep for longer.

What is the best way to store Alka® Tea?

To enjoy the optimal taste and quality of Alka® Tea for as long as possible, it is essential to store the tea correctly. Both unopened and opened tea boxes are best stored in a cool (<25 °C), dry, and dark place—for example, in a kitchen cupboard, away from moisture, sunlight, and strong odors.

This will ensure that the 52 alkaline herbs remain optimally protected, allowing the tea to retain its full aroma and balanced flavor. Avoid storing it near your stove or oven, and always close the box tightly after use.

When stored properly, Alka® Tea will remain an integral part of your daily tea ritual.

Tip 1:
Combine with Alka® Drops

Do you find it challenging to drink 4 glasses of water with Alka® Drops every day? Then add alkaline drops to a cup of Alka® Tea. For example, replace 2 glasses of water with 2 cups of Alka® Tea with 4 alkaline drops. Drink this on an empty stomach, i.e., sometime before or between meals.

Tip 2:
Turn into a refreshing iced tea

Basic recipe for Alka® Iced Tea: Put 2 filter bags of Alka® Tea in 1 liter of hot water. Allow the tea to cool thoroughly and place it in the refrigerator. Remove the 2 filter bags after 15 minutes. Serve with ice cubes and, if desired, some fresh mint or a slice of lemon for an extra refreshing twist—ideal on hot days or as a sugar-free alternative to soft drinks.

Tip 3:
A slightly sweeter taste

To sweeten your Alka® Tea, add a dash of agave syrup or honey. These natural sweeteners complement the herbal flavor perfectly.
